Stainless Steel Blank Flanges: ISO-NW-100
Vacuum Fittings (ISO-LF Large Flange, NW-100 Size)
These blank flanges meet ISO standards (flange size NW-100) and are ideal for building process vacuum plumbing and systems in industrial applications. They assemble quickly with double claw clamps and a Viton® centering ring (featuring a rubber/elastomeric O-ring).
ISO Flange Details
Also called "Large ISO," these flanges are used for HV chamber ports and come in two styles:
- ISO-K: Uses clamp fasteners
- ISO-F: Uses nut-and-bolt fasteners
Various bolt/clamp options allow connections between mixed ISO-K and ISO-F flanges.
Seal Design
ISO shares the same sealing principle as KF: Each flange face has a counterbore or groove to fit a metal centering ring (with an elastomeric O-ring on its outer diameter), which aligns flanges and secures the O-ring.
Operating Range
Limited by O-ring properties:
- Temperature: ~0°C to 120–180°C
- Pressure: Atmospheric to ~10⁻⁸ torr/mbar
