Sanitary Safety Valves maintain a system's set pressure: they open to relieve pressure when system pressure exceeds the set value. Pre-set to the specified pressure before dispatch, the valve remains closed initially. A pressure gauge can be installed at the inlet if required.

Hygienic Safety Valves are calibrated to specific pressures via spring nut adjustment. This calibration pressure – the maximum safe limit to prevent equipment damage – keeps the valve closed under normal pressure; exceeding it triggers the valve to open, releasing pipeline pressure and protecting the system.

Food-grade safety valves can be custom-built to client requirements and drawings.
